RSS Feeds

So far this has been my least favorite exercise. I don't really find the RSS Feeds to be very useful for me personally. What I did learn was that one of my favorite websites, laughingplace.com does have an RSS feed. I never would have paid attention to this before, so at least with this lesson I now know what an RSS feed is.

Lesson #6

For lesson #6 I explored Retriever. This is the mashup that retrieves photos on Flikr that resemble your sketch drawings. There is a box that you draw an image in with your mouse, and it will retrieve photos based on your sketch. I got some pretty weird photos out of my sketch.

One of my favorite places in the world... New York City. The lights, the music, the theatre! I love this photo because New York is so glamorous at night. This photo captures it perfectly.
